Truth in Leadership is not just a concept. It is not vague and there are no grey areas.
People often under estimate the ability of even the simplest minds to know when they are not being told the truth. We all have a built in B.S. meter and are quite able to hear it going off. When it does a little respect, a little piece of credibility goes away. Here is the interesting thing about that. It never comes back!
People do not forget being lied to. It is just the same as stealing from them or spreading rumors about them or any other act that will tear at their dignity.
I know that this sounds silly to read and the really silly part is that I also know that everyone who reads this can relate to what I am talking about. We have all had discussions in our past with people who were supposed to be our "Leaders" that left us feeling like we had just been decieved. We felt humiliated and we did not forget it. Guess what, no one ever does...not even the people guilty of spreading a little BS themselves.
At any rate this is just a quick little snippet for today about a topic I think cannot be talked about enough...
Use it - Remember it - or ignore it if you like....but don't say I didn't warn you!
